After graduating from Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida I worked at Wemco Industries, the largest necktie company in the world. I had the pleasure of working there for 10 years designing men’s sportswear and necktie lines including Resilio, Wembley, NFL, and TABASCO. The company was sold to a large NYC based firm around 1996 and that’s when I went back to school.

I met my lovely wife Cindy “Cindy Lou” on her first day at LSU Dental School. We dated through dental school and orthodontic residency at LSU and have three young boys, Bryce, Avery and Vaughn. Cindy and I evacuated New Orleans on the Saturday morning before Hurricane Katrina made landfall with two nights of clothing. Cindy was 7-and-a-half months pregnant with Bryce at the time. Well, Bryce was born 6 weeks after Katrina in Monroe, LA. (Cindy’s home town). Cindy’s dad is an orthodontist in Monroe and was able to put us to work in his practice. Fortunately for us, his is a DAMON system practice that tests new DAMON system products before they are released. We learned many practice pearls there.

Cindy and I now happily live and practice in Kingsport with our growing family. We are so happy to live in such a wonderful family area with so many activities and friendly people.
